How to request a Withdrawal from your Trading Account
You can request a withdrawal from your Trading Account by following the easy step-by-step instructions listed below.
Log into the Client Portal in Trade Desk and expand the Banking group. Click on the Withdrawals menu item.
In the Select Account field, choose the Trading Account from which you would like to request the withdrawal. This will expose the Bank Account field, as well as the Withdrawal History section for the selected trading account.
Choose the bank account that you would like the withdrawal amount to be deposited to. The bank details of the selected bank account will be displayed.
If your bank details need to be updated or changed, simply press the Change Details button. This will open a separate form that is populated with the details of the selected bank account. Change or update the bank details by entering the new bank account information in the relevant fields and pressing the Save button.
Important: Take note of the disclaimer. You will not be able to initiate any withdrawals for this bank account until such time that a valid bank statement for the new bank account has been submitted and the bank account changes have been approved. The Supporting Documentation can be uploaded once the updated bank details have been saved.
To initiate the withdrawal, press the Withdrawal Request button. This will open a separate form containing the bank details of the selected bank. Once you have confirmed that this is the bank account that the funds should be deposited to, press the Confirm button.
Once confirmed, the Withdrawal Request popup will display the maximum funds that can be withdrawn from the selected Trading Account, as well as the withdrawal fee.
Important: Take note of the disclaimer. The Withdrawal fee cannot be reversed, even if the withdrawal request is cancelled. Furthermore, the deposit into your selected bank account can take 2-5 days to reflect in your account.
- Specify the amount that you would like to withdraw in the Withdrawal Amount field. You can also choose to withdraw all the funds in your trading account by ticking the Withdraw All field. Once specified, press the Confirm button.
- An OTP code will be sent via SMS to your cellular device. Enter the OTP code that you received and press the Submit button.
- Velocity Trade will now proceed to process and your withdrawal request. If we have any queries regarding the withdrawal, we will contact you.

Q: I changed my bank account details in error while processing a Withdrawal request. How do I revert to my old bank account?
A: To change back to your old bank account, you need to submit a new bank account request and upload a bank statement that is not older than 3 months.
Q: How many withdrawals can I request per day?
A: You can request as many withdrawals as you like. It will however take between 2-5 days per withdrawal for the funds to be reflected in your bank account.
Q: I did not receive any emails when submitting my withdrawal request.
A: The spam filters on your email account may have blocked our emails. To avoid this, add email@example.com to your address book to allow emails from us to get through.
Q: How do I know if my withdrawal request has been processed?
A: You will receive an email from us to confirm that your withdrawal request has been processed. You can also request an update from Support by emailing us on firstname.lastname@example.org or by phoning us on 021 200 8824.
